What is the President’s Award Programme-Seychelles?

The President’s Award Programme – Seychelles is an exciting self-development programme available to all young people aged from 14 to 25 years. Previously known as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, it is now internationally known as the International Award Programme for Young People.The Programme exists in 126 countries and has been joined by over 6 million young people worldwide.


The President’s Award Programme – Seychelles is a challenging youth programme of activities that will enable you to learn new skills, help others, experience adventure and foster a sense of achievement.


After completing the 4 sections of the programme at the respective level a certificate and a badge will be awarded to you. The good news is that it is not an exam and you cannot fail. The President’s Award Programme- Seychelles is about having a go. It’s not a competition; you just need a bit of enterprise and perseverance.

How does it work?

The President’s Award Programme is where young people aged between 14 and 25 years old hone their skills. Through the range of activities they engage in, the participants develop their whole being – mind, body and soul.

There are 4 Sections at each level and one additional section for Gold Level – Residential Project
